Privacy

Opttera works with business partners and may process operational, commercial, or technical data provided during partner discussions, pilots, or platform evaluation.

Where possible, Opttera is designed to work with anonymised or pseudonymised data. We do not require personal driver names, payment-card data, exact home addresses, or unnecessary sensitive information for initial analytical pilots.

Data shared with Opttera is used only for the agreed business purpose, such as portfolio analysis, predictive cost modelling, policy-risk interpretation, or partner evaluation.

Opttera does not sell personal data.

Opttera’s services, pilots, reports, models, and analytical outputs are subject to separate written agreements with partners. No content on this website creates a binding commercial, legal, financial, or technical commitment.

Security

Opttera treats partner data, pilot materials, and analytical outputs as confidential business information.

Our early pilot approach is designed to reduce data exposure by prioritising:

anonymised or pseudonymised datasets
minimal data collection
restricted access
confidential partner handling
no payment-data requirement for initial pilots
no customer takeover or operational-system disruption

As Opttera develops, security controls, data-processing agreements, and technical safeguards will evolve in line with partner requirements.

Responsible Data Use

Opttera focuses on portfolio-level financial intelligence, pricing risk, policy interpretation, and recommended actions.

The platform is not designed to unfairly profile individual drivers or replace human business judgement. Analytical outputs should be reviewed in context, especially where cost behaviour may reflect legitimate operational needs, infrastructure limitations, or agreed policy exceptions.
